IE7 Beta
« on: January 31, 2006, 07:47:04 pm »
So yeah, I installed the IE7 beta on an alternate copy of Windows, since I didn't want to muck up my main machine, and after messing around with it for like 30 seconds, I was glad I did . . !  The interface is horrible.  I know it's still beta and all, but this is probably pretty close to how the final will be.  From all I can tell, they're just introducing features that other browsers already have.  I'll post more things if I find anything particularly interesting.

In all fairness to its appearance, here it is again with the default XP theme turned back on, making it look a tad nicer.  But I still dislike the interface.

The thing on the screen there btw is the fast tab chooser thing, which shows off the new resizing ability it has.  But Opera has been able to resize windows like that for a long time, and Firefox has an extension to do a thumbnail chooser like that.
