TFS: The New Adventures, episode 18

And after an unreasonably long lazy streak/writer's block, I bring you The De Novo Project, part 12!  Since it's still hot off the presses, expect me to be extremely anal of my own writing and be editing little bits here and there as I reread it.  And since I was up till almost 4am finishing it last night, feel free to point out any mistakes.  If you're new to the story or just want to recall what's been going on, you can find the first 11 parts in the Fybrary.
