Title: Second Life
Post by: Boris on December 03, 2006, 03:41:08 am
I guess this goes here anyway.

Hi I'm boris, your personal second life newbie. The difference between me and joe average is that I talked to the one guy in this game or whatever it is, who actually got the name 'peter frampton'. I see your not impressed, so I'm going to go with my contingency plan and point out the awesome Fybertech lab table and power core behind me. I made it mahself.

Mostly the fun here is that we found when you turn on physics and delink them, they fall apart spectacularly. Here's a couple breaking for you.

Now the big one, a stack of six of such tables collapseing under its own weight:

Vito will be pissed.

Anyway, I think /spaceno deserves at least one screenshot so I picked the best one I could find.

To those not in the know, spaceno is a gesture object which makes you start to spin around slowly as if falling, while screaming "NOOOOOOO".

signed up for Second Life...

Downloaded onto one computer....Graphics card too primitive.
Downloaded onto another comp....Doesn't have 32-bit mode.

So I can't reply to your friend-invitation, Fyber.

EDIT: Sorry for doublepost, but the delete post button seemed to have disappeared at the moment...

Could be a permission problem or something from the upgrade.  Can you modify posts?

Also that sucks about the computer thing.  I didn't think it would be that demanding on video since it's mostly cpu intensive.

All I can do is quote and modify (my posts).

This is extra great as we were currenlty building troll weapons. Baiscally Fyber won without even knowing he was playing yet.

How was I to know that cluttering someone's personal property up with thousands of wooden spheres would get me reported .. . . . ... .. .. .. ..... .

I appealed the ban since it was kind of lame, so we'll see.

Fyber's ban got appealed when he told em he was just tinkering and not trying to troll.

Meanwhile, Mets and I started getting revenge.
