I totally love how you can have both a DS game and a GBA game in the system at the same time.  It's like I can play two games without having to carry the extra!

I'm conflicted when it comes to the DS chips. I like how they're small and cool looking, but I feel like they're brittle so I can't carry many around unless I carry the game case. With the GBA carts I would just throw a couple in my backpack and not worry those things were durable.
EDIT:
The DS is probably the quirkiest game system out there with some of teh most interesting and weird games to ever hit the stateside. And speaking of quirky games I just read this article  (http://ds.ign.com/articles/674/674221p1.html) about a game called Lupis. It's in its prototype form, but it's a game that will teach girls how to have great sex at a young age, although their is no explicit sex I think. some favorite quotes from the article.
Quote
The idea is to actually inform gamers on sex, and as Heather stated, "improve actual sex in the world." And you thought Miyamoto was ambitious. The idea is a bit obscure, however, since the idea of having sexual implications isn't even supposed to be apparent at first. The idea of parents buying this game for their kids without knowing it simply amazes and horrifies us. But lets just move on.
Be sure to read the article and stuff before you go off on the game though.

I really like the DS, and it's concept, but because my library of gameboy games is made up of 3 GBA games and like, 25 old games, I kind of need a gameboy that can play them. Maybe one day they'll get it to play all gameboy games ever.

But they won't, because it's not supposed to replace the GBA.  They said so . . !

Oh wait, all the new Mario games and such are coming out for DS now . . . . . .

I have decided to no longer scrap an older system for a new one.  Even when I get Revolution, I will never relinquish my GC, or my SP... or DS

I'm counting down the days till the new Mario Bros comes out, it looks like it's gonna be all the good stuff from the old games and some awsome new additions (i.e. giant shrooms)

Yeah the New SMB is incredibly faithful to the NES SMB games, and I love it.  The only complaint I have is that the three new power ups in general are pretty rare.  Also dancing giant mushrooms are the ultimate platforming evil.

I've purposely forced myself to not play this game to much so that I can streach out the good times aslong as possible.  Right now I've got all levels open but I'm working on finishing up 7 then 8.
