As some of you might have noticed, Livejournal (http://www.livejournal.com) has a thing on the front page to display all the recently posted entries. I've noticed sites before which somehow displayed all recent LJ images posted, and I realized this must be how they're doing it, so for no real reason whatsoever, I decided to write my own!
So it's perdy simple, really. Every 5 minutes it'll re-get the list of new entries, and parse out all the image files and display'em. Probably not good for dial-up users! But it's interesting to see what kinds of stuff folks post. Just in the time I spent working on it, I found pictures that go from hot to sick. It's almost an LJ-chan . . !
Take a looksee. (http://www.fybertech.com/lj)

I'm both interested in and terrified at what LJ-chan would put out.
-
I am frightened, that I am.
-
Could you also make them hyperlink to the livejournal entries?
-
That's something I thought about trying if it's possible. I'll see what I can do.
I also thought of maybe making a way for people to mark images which they like so that others can view'em later, since otherwise they disappear perdy quick.

Exactly the problem when I encountered the adventures of SUPER MR. WHITFIELD. Because he looked like Boris.
So I saved it and here it is.
-
lol it's especially like boris because they're talking about math . . !

I totally forgot about this project, but I started messing around with it again tonight and added in the ability for it to link to the LJ entries that the images are associated with.
