You mean like the christmas thing?

FyberOptic:
Basically you make a comic panel, sprite or drawn or whatever, and then someone comes along after you and claims rights to make the next panel.  They continue the story with their panel, etc.  Wet, lather, rinse, repeat.

And so it goes (Also forgive me Fyber, I know the sprite of you looks crappy, I couldn't do any better.)
