I was always impressed that if you move dad's chair away and then go to the kitchen and then come back into the living room, the chair is automatically put back to where it was. Actually I don't know if that was just software limitations or not.

Oh, this motherfucking game. What the FUCK was with that secret level where yer Fraiser's dad trying to solve a murder mystery? It was totally out of left field. I actually enjoyed that part, but it was so short. The rest is all psychology bullshit and callers and drinking shit.

And getting that secret, OMG. Anyone remember how to get to that secret level? I don't, but I remember it was grindy.

Pretty sure it was an Aladdin sort of deal. The MD version was developed by a Japanese ATLUS team. Game is absolute garbage, typical licensed game, I think it pretty much 100% reuses the engine and gameplay mechanics from Super Widget, which kinda explains the questionable choice of having Frasier transform into a firebreathing Eddie with the appropriate powerup.

Thats one thing i really liked about fraiser when compared to more modern games that had music like oot; the complexity. Sure its a pain to use the left part of the controller for chords and the right part for rhythm but once you get used to it its basically a whole game unto itself.

Design a Frasier game.

>Addams Family engine (the Snes/Gen version)
>Frasier sprite with chibi head
>Intro shows Frasier accidentally dropping his dad's chair out of the window
>Now collect the parts Frasier!
>instead of the mansion you walk around on the streets of Seattle.
>Collecting sherry bottles for points
>Going into buildings looking for pieces of the chair
>Don't get bit by dogs Frasier!
>Avoid the weirdos!
>Climb out the window and look on the rooftops Frasier!

I think I just ripped off the MSDos Blues Brothers game..

You have to get the Cheers Matchbook item in your inventory at the start of the game. Then open your inventory outside the apartment on the street, go to the matchbook and press L to examine it 4 times in a row. It'll make a sound. Back on the main screen, move Frasier underneath the shadow of the 4th lamp post away from his apartment and press L.

The matchbook now becomes an item that can warp you to the cheers bar at any time, and aside from having ALL of the characters from the show, it also has every liquor item in the game, an endless supply of coffee, and a free set of tickets to all the optional shows (my favorite is the Opera with pretty much anybody, but it's also funny to see the Taming of the Shrew with Roz or Hamlet with Dad and Eddie)
