Snipe-Hunt

Snipe-Hunt Media, or generally referred to as simply Snipe-Hunt, is an offshoot of Hazard Labs, coming into existence after the events of THAT AWFUL DAY. Much like Hazard Labs, it revolves around the storyline of Professor Hazard and most of his previous crew, though set three years in the future, after the supposed crash of the Hazard Labship.

The website was first reported as being online as of September 29th, 2005. The following day, the somewhat infamous countdown clock appeared, counting down to the site's launch, which happened at approximately noon on October 7th. The site was still vastly incomplete at this time, however.

The name "Snipe-Hunt" was initially used for referring to the Hazard Labs RP sessions, and was going to be the basis of the new website, but complex rules and a lack of players resulted in this never coming to pass. Instead, the site currently hosts sprite-based and hand-drawn comics oriented around the newer storyline, as well as a few from the Hazard Labs days.

One of the few other things of note is that shortly after Snipe Hunt was founded, they reset their continuity from the Hazard Labs days, removing FyberOptic and several other long gone or unwanted members from the cast. This allowed a Fybertech reset as well, making stories such as The De Novo Project and Fybertech comics original works instead of Hazard Labs offshoots.
