Fuitad
FuitadNET (generally referred to as simply Fuitad) is a Canadian-based webhosting company, which due to poor support and service, has been the basis for several Fybertech in-jokes.
Originally suggested as a replacement host for Hazard Labs by Boris (who himself hosted SpaceOcean there), the company was owned by a French-Canadian individual, who seemed to promote the ideology of a community amongst its members. Hazard Labs was thus moved from a previously poor webhost to Fuitad, and early on, it proved to be a suitable host.
A few months after the move, without notice to the customers, FuitadNET was sold to a chain of Arab-owned hosting companies in Canada. This wasn't apparent to either Boris or FyberOptic until the quality of service began to decrease, and requests for support resulted in poor communication due to lack of proper English by Fuitad employees, empty promises of fixing problems, and billing issues. This only got worse as time went on.
As such, the search for a better host continued. The idea of running their own chat and game servers prompted FyberOptic to begin looking into dedicated and virtual hosting, which lead to the eventual discovery of Linode. After a short setup and learning period, FyberOptic eventually moved all of Fybertech to the new server, eventually followed by one for Hazard Labs as well, which resulted in possibly the most reliable hosting either website had experienced.
