Boris (Character)

A college student grounded with the worlds of science and business, Boris serves as Fybertech's front man. When he met FyberOptic, he provided some initial support toward the building of the lab. Soon afterward, the events of The De Novo Project occur. This caused FyberOptic to reveal a good portion of his past to Boris, leaving Boris more jaded and cautious about the future of advanced technology. Lacking FyberOptic's wide view Boris still maintains a dedication to sharing advanced technology with Earth in general which leads to some rare conflict between the two.
Boris, being an academic and business minded, was driven by his research-oriented nature to study and begin reproducing advanced xenotechnology, leading to supertechnology. Since the events of De Novo, Boris has been more cautious and stringent with technology of these sorts. Thor, an electromagnetic coilgun of his own creation, is the prime example of supertechnology.
Boris and Fyber get along well, but have conflicts of interest sometimes, with Boris feeling that new supertechnology should be open for people to make mistakes with, while Fyber feels more that it protects Earth to have to develop such technology themselves.
