Boris has been with Fybertech nearly from the beginning. A former member of Hazard Labs and the creator of Tech Crew, Boris decided to leave the labs after a disagreement with the Haz Labs founders some time before THAT AWFUL DAY. However, he also wanted to stay in contact with FyberOptic, and came to hang out in #fybertech to keep in touch. In this way, he became the second member of Fybertech, and is considered one of its senior staff.

Boris was the first paying customer of Fybertech Webhosting, a short-lived experiment of Fyber's to see if he could reduce the higher monthly cost of a Linode over a normal web host by offering web hosting of his own. After THAT AWFUL DAY, Boris stepped up to donate monthly (with Vito) to help pay the costs of keeping the website online. Fybertech Webhosting eventually faded out of existence, though Boris' donations were more than enough to warrant the webhosting he was provided, and still makes use of.

Boris used to host SpaceOcean on the Fybertech Linode, as well as The Metroid Chronicles and Magicfall in the Fybertech Comics section. In the past he has attempted to develop other projects such as Shipmaker.

Now he attempts to focus on Fybertech projects, and has somewhat self appointed himself the master of extended continuity. While Fyber templates the world out with each new chapter of The De Novo Project Boris handles the writing of all the new member-characters and events that would appear after the initial story.

In addition, he often uses his tallents as a writer and world builder to come up with new stories or silly things like The Fybertech Road Rally.
