4get

4get is a mirc bot scrip created by FyberOptic to capture and catalogue images from 4chan that a chatter finds particularly worth saving. Orriginally created as a short term delay to allow everybody to view the rapidly dissapereing 4chan images hours later without the need for saving the picture and putting it on Fychan manually, it now serves as a semi-permenant archive for saved images. Functionality has been added over time such as an over-ride for already posted images, a bot automated tagging system to allow comments to be saved with the image and various random image and totals reporting.

The current and so far record capcity for 4get is 41746 images using 8305MB as of July 31st 2009

Image tags for more comedic effect or search indexing have been enabled for some time, and the beginnings of a voting system to delete unwanted images is already in place.
