Note all the shunts used to preferentially send iron towards steel foundries, with most backed up to the point where exactly the amount not used for steel spills over to get sold directly.

Here's what I built after figuring out plastics. I'll eventually want to replace some of that steel with more plastic later, though it's something I'd want to change around all at once. The ones on the left are more for generating research, though, at least until I get oil & gas labs.

And here we after another day of factory management and the further deelopment of plasctics. I really liked how the newest building was exactly the right size to set up steel production in, so I did. Not sure what I'll do with A7 yet, probably plastic at first.

I'll want to replace the big research complex on the left with gas versions or something to speed things up, but so far I'd like to avoid using chronometers just because speeding up time doens't really make sense to me in the context of a the game. I'm pretending to be a factory manager, and factory managers don't pretend to make money faster by altering their perception of time.

Here we are in another end-of-day report. Upgraded oil, even more plastic, another room, and by tomorrow probably enoug money to buy the next factory.

Even more plastic, even more compact. This is projected to take slightly less than a day to save up money for a kilofactory. I might go for to that before getting any further upgrades, since I'll probably make more sooner by increasing floor space.

Got the kilofactory. Apparently upgrades dont' carry over even though research does? Anyway, I got the new one up to plastic fairly quickly anyway, and in the old one I started trying out electronics. After making this screenshot, I went and got the upgrade to make plastic maker not produce waste, but it looks pretty much the same but without the sorters and with only the one recycler for the electronics waste.

Nt sure if the maps are inteded to get put together like this but the roads lined up perfectly just by putting the lower one in the bottom right.

I got the huge last room for the first factory and figured I'd to a before and after of the whole thing getting cleared out and rebuilt.
