Fybertech Role Call

Prompted by Rhythm nailing down a character, I decided it might be a good idea to make a topic, where not only official character descriptions can be put for reference, but as can ideas for ones, where they can be debated and tuned and everything.

I'll post Fyber's details at some point, this is just the placeholder for it for now.  Everyone else is welcome to post their own.  Keep in mind these are characters that would be used or considered for use as Fybertech canon, whether it be in stories or comics or whatever.  If you have no interest in your character being in these things, then you shouldn't be posting it..!

Those are narrative descriptions, and don't cover but just a small few folk.  This topic is for more brief descriptions of physical appearance and capabilities which is much more easily referenced.

Name: Rhythm
Position: Acoustical Engineer
Age: 15


Appearance: Rhythm has brown hair, blue eyes. He wears purple goggles with ear pieces that act as speaker/headphones, a wire and be pulled out, plugging into musical gadgets or other things. He wears a black jacket with white trim, black pants with white trim. Purple finger gloves and purple steel toe boots.

Weapons:

The wire that is attached to the head phones can convert and typer of speaker into a sound-based weapon. Like strong sound burst capable of crumpling steel, high pitched sounds acting as a paralyzer, and low sounds causeing violent or gentle vibrations. (Maybe more effects I havent thought up.) To change the weapon types, he spins the head phones like a dial, switching the power level or the weapon sound type. He carries a small portable speaker as a backup in case there are no speakers or sound based tech to be found.

Recommendation for the glove:  maybe he has to actually touch the person, such as on the back or side of the neck, before his index finger can actually paralyze'em.  Maybe he has to touch other objects or at least be really close for his other abilities to work, as well. 

I bring this up because no character should be completely super-human.  For example, he shouldn't be able to just point out his hand and blow up walls or take out a whole group of bad guys, because not only does that leave little believable opposition for him to ever go against, but there are other more scientific explanations which would be much harder for one to give, such as how you power such a device and who/how/where was such a device built.

That said, I'm not opposed to strong devices or abilities, but it needs not only something to back up its origin, but also needs to stay within the realm of believability to an extent.

Yeah, Rhythm and em liked my idea of using external speakers that the supertech headphones go into as der thing, so I'll write up an investigation on that at some point.

Mets also posted a nice new version of Borz I whipped up there. I might also try and make a vito and fibber based offa that template b/c it do look pretty slick.

Did more fiddling, gave self eyes, skates, and a different shirt. Dunno what else should be done, maybe different color pants.

Name: Mechanical Duplicate

Description: A mechanical skeleton designed to disguse himself as various individuals using synthetic suits and/or a HEAT device, whichever makes more sense. Actualy, I guess HEAT would work better, since it would drain his batteries, limiting the time he can use it, and it wouldn't require all the sculpting and whatever of making a suit, wihich would take way from the action and whatnot. But however he actualy works, he was made to take the place of people so the bad guys, probably Arvix, can take control and do crazy evil things behind the scenes. And so he goes after the Fybertech crew I guess. And of course he can't go prancing around being all skeletony because he's made with spacertech.

That sounds like a workable character there, could lead to interesting plots.
