try going into the control panel, then go to add / remove programs. Find some sort of program that sounds like it would get in the way of downloading. You can check to see how often it is used. If this is a new problem, then it's probably new software. If it is new software, then it probably has a high uses to days ratio. That will identify the problem. I leave it to you to solve it, for I am tired and will now go sleep : P
