Title: A question that has piqued the nerds for a century.
Post by: Altzan on June 20, 2006, 03:17:02 pm
What is openGL 1.4, where can I get it, is it downloadable. I must know.

Normally used in KOTOR and Jedi Academy, and I've got no idea how to get it.

Help please?

OpenGL is a 3d graphics library, the alternative to DirectX.  OpenGL is arguably better depending on who you ask.

Anyhoo, usually drivers for it come with your video card.  Windows comes with a generic OpenGL library, but it's not going to give you very good framerates.  I'd suggest checking your video card manufacturer for driver updates, that's sure to get you support of it if you don't already have it.

Whenever I try to play, it says, "can't open openGL environment". I don't think I already have it on my PC.

Well, 100-odd nerds all asked it, but no one knew the answer. At least if thy did, they never replied. ANYWAYS, FyberOptic found a file that fixed it for me. Thanks.
