It'll eat yours too, run now.
No seriously, what it really ate was my numlock key. It was the 'auto-run' key, and I pressed it too many times and it broke. binding autorun to some key that does have food crumbs (or whatever is causeing the mysterious outage) was easy enough, but now I'm helpless if I need to lock some numbers.

w2g eatbert.
You should take a paper clip and scrape everything to the edge of the keyboard, then scrape it out into the trash. Or better yet, take the keyboard apart, and run the top half under some waters and pick all that shits out from between the keys. I did it once with a keyboard I fancied, and used it for a long while after that too.

I actually had a lot of luck fixing it with a couple of those cans of compressed air and a little paperclipish metal tool.
