My last name, Ashlin, had nothing, although Ash did, but I'm not sure that counts.

I could find Ashlin there (http://www.houseofnames.com/coatofarms_details.asp?sId=&s=Ashlin), although considering that Ashlin means "son of a pool surrounded by ash trees" according to most name-meaning-finders, I'm not sure how accurate it is.

I think he was reffering to Germany's affiliation to sausages, beer, clocks, cars, lumberjacks, beefy women that look like guys except for their pigtails, excessive use of overalls, and the creation of complex machinery entirley out of wood.

Edit: Also, I think mine's pretty bland. I mean, it's a set of three red thingys, and the knight head has a winged horse on it. Now that's lame. I think I'll pull a Stalin and come out with my own set of titles and whatnot. I'll even make my own micronation! And by mircronation I mean the airborn and/or space fairing equivalent of pirates/marauder.

I havent been able to find my English side yet. It has the knights head, three dragon heads breathing fire above three sea shells on it. I thought the shield to my french side was kind of weak. 
A few things were off in the description. it's been a while since I saw this, iv'e been able trace the shield all the way back to 1650. Iv'e been able to trace the Hardy name as far back as 600 A.D. Here's the larger image.
