I've been running with a double-sized task bar lately since it squarshes them too small when I have many windows open (and I can get a lot when I'm warkin on something). But I found the wallpaper on 4chang.

There's something neat to me about a small desktop like that. Maybe kind of old-timey, I dunno, prolly working with one app at a time since there's not a lot of space to have tons open on the screen at once.

I really disliked that game.

The only thing I disliked about the game was how the bosses were all cheap little monkies. Plus this game will always be special to me as the one game that made mad enough to bust a controller.

Besides, it aint like Apple created the GUI in the first place, they got the ideas from Xerox. Microsoft of course "stole" the idea, but since Bill Gates is just a greedy bastard and not a crazy bastard like Jobs, he ended up with the winning company.

How GOOD? They ROCK. They're one of my favorite series to read. They are fun, adventurous, well plotted out, etc. Plus, there are so many they'd have you busy for weeks. ;)

Picked up a book called "Mouse Guard: Fall 1152" it's great, so I did a scan and here's the result.

Guess I havn't slapped one up here in a while, not since I got Vista anyway, of which I'm using one of the generic backgrounds for, but it's still pretty nice. You'll also noticed I turned off their dumb interface and went back to the 2k lookin one.

I know that this is a desktop thread, but I thought I'd post this theme I found today. I normally don't have Windows themes turned on at all, as evidenced by my former screenshots, but I thought this looked nice enough that I turned it on for the time being.
Here's where you can download it. (http://www.istartedsomething.com/20061029/royale-noir/) It's called Royale Noir.
The Opera theme that I matched to it btw is called breezily__trimple_-02_0. Not sure of the proper name, but that's what it shows when installed. Just browse through the themes installation panel and you'll prolly find it.
