Hmm, I'm not sure if I have a favorite series. I do like Zelda though, but I also like Metroid, and Metal Gear. HOW CAN I CHOOOOSE.
Also I changed the name of this topic to better describe what it was about.

favorite series? Final Fantasy, or anything made by Squaresoft, they rock, outloud.

Mega Man (and any of it's spin-offs), hands down. I only spent a buncha my childhood year searching for every MM game. To this day I only miss MM 4 and 5 on the Game Boy.
PS: I skipped MM64 cause that's just Legends on the 64

I'd have to say either Mario or Tetris. OLD TETRIS. NES AND GAMEBOY AND ARCADE TETRIS. NOT SHITTY XBOX TETRIS.

Metroid, Mega Man, TMNT, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Evil Dead (It is also game), Parasite Eve, Mortal Kombat. To name a few.

I like the Resident Evil games as well, though I can't say I'm a hardcore enough fan to go out and buy every new one that comes out.

I really like RE4, but then I bought the REmake for the gamecube. My god it's so bad. Such horrible gamecontrol and camera angles.

RE4 was pretty damned good. I should have waited to buy it seeming as how the ps2 version will have new weapons, mini games, and side stories.
Yeah Ecto, but the PS2 version will also have horrendus load time, blockier graphics, and you'll already know all the plot twists and the ending. All-in-all I don't think the PS2 version is worth it.

All the megaman BattleNetwork games just seem to be the same thing. There's a few tweaks her and there, but for the most part the same thing.

In defense of the games Vito, all the other MM series are pretty much the same thing over and over with real change only occuring when a new spin off comes. But that fact never really bothered cause I love pretty much all the megaman games.
P.S. Best Battle Network is Transmission (it's one of the best games in the whole MM series)

Mario Smash Football, DUH. Which, in actuality, was probably originally a hockey game because they say the original game they first showed to Nintendo they weren't too impressed with, and it plays much more like Hokcye than Football.

I only just recently got into DDR, I was deluded for so long into thinking it a stupid waste of money, but now I have played... and I must say I am thuroughly addicted. I just wish the console versions didn't start you on light mode, I'm not that good yet.

Method to make Stone Ability not suck:
Step 1: Get some ability
Step 2: Create Helper out of said ability
Step 3: Get stone ability
Step 4: Become Invincible and let the Helpper do all the work for you
For best results have a human controlling the helper character

I'm gooder at sim city thant he sims. I guess sim city gives me diretion on what I'm doing whereas the sims is so freeform.
My favorite game, though... hmm...
On consoles I'd have to say Super Metroid is the finest pixels ever made. Throw in PC though, and it gets a bit muddier. Probably have to go with Warcraft 3 as the thing I have poured the most hours into and had the most fun with.

I enjoy Sims, but usually only for short periods of time. I'll get in the mood to play it, and start a new character and house and everything, then after a certain point I kinda get bored of that one and either stop playing for a while again or start a whole new house.
But at least in Sims 2 you can die of old age. Though chances are by that point you've gotten married and have kids to play as. I once played through three generations.

I liked how Kirby and the Amazing Mirror had a Metroid-like world where everything was connected. And then you had the four kirbies running around at random just doing what ever they felt like until you pulled out the cell phone and said "get your butts over here!!"

Actually it's out now. I'm playing it right now, it's so damn hard. I'm only on level nine and I've been out number about 7 to 1 since the third level.
Still it's just as good as all the other ones stories great, same with characters.
Also the cinemas are pretty awsome.

This game is the bomb, even if some of the levels are incredibly hard. I love all the little robo animals, and the main character is just plain awsome. He kinda reminds me of boogerman. Infact I think I may just go and play it when I get home.

Earthworm Jim. with the cown, crows, snots, mad puppies, and Queen Slug-for-a-butt you can't go wrong. Plus the cartoon was good, plus it came on after Freakazoid.
