So it's getting to be that time of year again, when all brids fly away to Texas where the server is, ensuring it will run another year. Except they are expensive birds made of fireworks duct taped to iPhones running the "brid" app. Suffice it to say, it's a one-way trip. But this is where you come in to help them on their journey, by sending me lots of money! 600 dolar donkey dookie etc.
Actually, we're doing pretty good this year. The total is the same as always, $250 for the server + $20 for the fybertech.com domain + $20 for fybertech.net. But Boris and Bluejay have both donated many delicious greenbacks, taking care of both domain names (before the fuckers raised the price, too!) as well as a chunk of the server. I tend to try and eat the Paypal fees myself at least. So based on what's sitting in there now, we just need about $100 more to top it off.
The payment isn't due until September 1st, but I always start bringing this up around July so that people can plan ahead if need be. It also gives enough time if someone wants to mail a donation, which is equally fine, but you just have to figure in approximately a week for it to arrive, plus a week for me to transfer the money from my bank account to Paypal. So two weeks before September, at the latest. Just message me if you need the address.

As usual, there's no pressure for anyone to donate since I know not everyone can. Being part of the community in and of itself is worth something to me. It doesn't buy iPhones, fireworks, and duct tape, though, so anything anyone can contribute is always much appreciated, no matter how small the amount.
I don't think we should have any trouble raising what's left. And if there turns out to be any extra this year, I figure we can put it towards something like a Minecraft purchase maybe. Regardless, I'll remind again when the date gets closer. We've got plenty of time right now. Month and a half. Or six weeks. Or 48 days. Or 1152 hours. PLENTY OF TIME. GEEZE, RELAX.
