You can type so that means you can obviously read. The date when a topic is created is underneath the topic heading.This isn't really that difficult to miss. If the topic was created last year or a month ago do not post in it. If you feel you must ask a moderator for permission.

Actualy, I'm not you even if no one is immature. ;)
...But realy, just kidding with the chart there. I don't think you did anything too annoying, although you should be carefull to not post on an old thread unless you have something usefull and/or cool to say, and more importantly, that the person you're talking to still reads the forum you're posting on. Otherwise you're just talking to no one! Also, if you think someone's being annoying, it's best to ignore them unless they're being extra obnoxious.
