"You mean you have to use your hands? That's like a baby's toy!"

This scene from Back to the Future 2 takes place 5 years from now. That means originally, the future was supposed to be a place where physical control schemes in games are considered casual shit, and the flailing arms kinda of games are for the hardcore.

This can only mean that at some point, some one ALTERED key events in history, resulting in an alternate timeline! One where hands-free gaming are the baby toys, and physical control schemes are the legitimate control schemes!

My god, you could be correct!

But, ponder this:

>Time machines do not exist because they're creators always travel back in time and kill their past selves to prevent altering the timeline, thus we will never have time machines.

I've always thought that waving your arms around to play video games is the opposite of progress toward VR.

It's like reverse ergonomics. Instead of making things easier and more comfortable, it makes them more difficult and less comfortable.

I think we need to look more into using electrodes to pick up brain signals to control games. They are already sort of doing it, they just need more funding from video game corporations.

And fuck exercise while playing video games. If you don't know how to take care of your body and stop playing video games for a couple minutes a day, then you deserve every ounce of fat you accumulate.

So what you are saying is; The directors of back to the future. Went back in time to tell their past selves to direct a movie about a kid who has time shenanigans and gives his past self set pieces that reference the future movies without telling him they do so.

That's pretty impressive.

>2015: Nintendo, furious at having been relegated to the role of gimmick baby toy producer, moves all their funding from cheap 3D flicks, to a secret R&D department. Eventually, a time travel device is built. To pay homage to Nintendo's once glorious past, it is named the TimeBoy. Using the time boy, Nintendo sends Iwata and Miyamoto back in time to convey a devious plan with their older selves. The plan culminates at the 2010 E3, forever changing the course of history.
